sorry for the last couple of posts I should have sent these to majordomo instead of MBA
I thought the list has been real quiet. its because I have been unsubsribed since march
must be because I quit Qwest and ATT has been switching so now I "think" I have a stable email

How do these rumors get started? Someone said to me the other night they
heard Crisp was closing, to which I responded "I find that hard to
believe, I just saw William Crisp in Cleveland." I thought whomever I
was talking to was just misinformed; I didn't realize the mill had been
whipped into high speed. Rest assured, both Kelly and Dingemanns are
doing an excellent job filling in the gap left by DWC closing.

I haven't kept up with this as much as some of you so, here's an update from
an excellent source. Kelly has long supported the MHBA and his effort in
the industry has caused much positive change.

Hi,
Just wanted to officially thank Damian and Dave Berg
for their help with the West Side meeting as well as
all those who attended. As usual, Dave and Damian had
valuable insights on the brewing process.
Next meeting will be at Hops in Eden Prairie, date as
yet to be determined.
Cheers!

Last call to all beer judges (or wanna-be beer judges!)
We're still in need of a few good tasters for the Upper Mississippi Mash-Out
Beer, Mead and Cider Competition!
We will be doing two sessions of judging this Saturday, April 27 at 3pm and
7pm, and another session on Sunday, April 28 at 1:30pm. The location is
Harwell's Steak House and Brewery in Shakopee. We have need of
BJCP-certified judges, but you are welcome to help if you would like to
learn how to judge - inexperienced judges will be teamed with Certified
judges.
This is the first year of this contest, cosponsored by the Minnesota Home
Brewers Association and the St.Paul Homebrew Club. Please help us to make
it a great success!
For more information, go to http://www.mnbrewers.com/mashout.
Contact us at mash-out(a)nbrewer.com if you are interested.
Gary,
They sell (outside the city limits, anyway) a heat-resistand spray paint for
touching up gas grilles and the like. As I recall Krylon made one. Home
Depot ought to have something.
As for Swagelok, and related stuff, there's always a load of it (84 listings
right now) on Ebay. Try the keyword Swagelok, or get to the "Other
Industries/Process Equipment" category. You'll get it for alot less than you
were paying at Moving Brews, I bet. There's pumps, heat exchangers,
Tri-Clover, whatever you might need, too.
Happy hunting.

Well only in Minnesota can you get record highs in the 90Â’s and a week later
a 4” snow storm, and yes the storm was the day of the Hot Luck dinner so the
turn out was smaller than hoped for, but the 22 people that did show up came
with a eat the heat attitude. Had a great turn out from the homebrews, the
food was great from chipotle leg of lamb, Cajun beans, wings, to a salmon
kiwi horseradish bagel. We collected $179 for Sharing and Caring Hands had
plenty of door prizes from the sponsorÂ’s which I thank again.
Bandana Bandito, Habby HabaneroÂ’s, HowardÂ’s Yummies, Kalahari Pepper,
Jardine Foods, Mi Tejas Spice, Mild to Wild, My Hot Sauces, Red Lion, TCÂ’s,
Tony Chachere, Kato, Blind Betty, Team Sauce, Frog Ranch
Thank you Gary
