Speaking of lamenting the demise of a brewery....

Friends,
with great regret I would like to inform all of the closing of
the
Sherlock's Home brewpub as of December 31st. Thank you to all who have
supported Sherlock's and myself over the last three years. Unless a buyer
comes through before the end of the month I will cease to be gainfully
employed in the new year. As a result, if any members of the Craft
Brewers
Guild, or anyone else for that matter, know of a position in the brewing
or
related industries that may be available in the near future, I would
greatly
appreciate if that information could be forwarded to me.
I look forward to having a pint with you all in the very near future.
Cheers, Damian McConn.

Greetings,
Just an update.
We will be doing Pinot (from anywhere, Burgundy prefered)
at the 510 Restaurant this Wednesday 12/11 at 6:30 pm.
I'll make the reservation today. There's a chance that
they will be doing a large "pre-theatre" seating (YEAH!)
and so they may not be able to seat us until 7:00 or so.
I hope to clear that up, post it to the list, ASAP.
For now, the appted time is 6:30.

Hi Fellow Fun Lovers,
Come to the Town Hall on Friday the 13th and get into some "Trouble". From 5-6pm this Friday (yes the 13th) try the winter warmer for just $1 per pint. This is a classic English Strong Ale, full of flavor and character. Ruby red in color, rich in thick malt sweetness, with a balancing hop presence that is not overpowering. After work, come on down and have a try.....just remember this beer is named "Trouble" for a reason
Happy Holidays,
Mike
Hey all,
We are having our final WestSide Meeting of the year
at the Water Tower, where we will be holding a wake
for the sadly defunct brewery. If Dave's Beer is gone,
we can adjourn elsewhere if so desired ...
Meeting will be Thursday, 12/19 @ 7:00 pm.
Cheers
WH

We'll do this again at the holiday party. It gets better and better every year. Here's how it works:
For every bottle of homebrew you submit, you get a ticket. We'll have a drawing to determine the order and for each ticket you get to choose a bottle of beer to exchange. For every bottle you bring, you get to take a different one home.
You can submit as few as 1 bottle or as many as 24 (1 case).
All bottles must be homebrew and labeled with the style and brewer.
