Subject: [SPHBC] MHBA BOS Event this Saturday at MN State Fair
Hello Everyone,
As some people know (and some more than others) My email skills are pretty
dang bad, I apologize. So I want to clarify for this Saturday and new media
events.
MHBA BOS Event is this Saturday at MN State Fair at the State Fair Grounds
in front of the Creative Activities/Education building on the outdoor stage.
Time, is 10am to 2pm. BOs will start fairly soon after. Robert G. is doing
our brewing demo. (Thanks, Robert) Also, I have enough ticketed volunteers
to help the brewer, handing out club brochures, homebrew store catalogs and
just talk to thousands of people about brewing but...
If you plan on being at the State Fair anyways for any of the days listed
below. I encourage you to come and support us and the homebrewing hobby!
Here a list of media days for all homebrewers:
Friday, August 25th
AM1500 KSTP
during Garage Logic with Joe Soucheray
3:30pm - 4pm
Saturday, August 26th
Our BOS show day from 10-2 AND....
1280AM Patriot Radio interview
(time TBA)
Monday, August 28th
WCCO Channel 4 during the 6pm NEWS
Interview the BOS winner!!
Any questions or please call or email. Thanks everyone.
Regards,
Sean Hewitt

Gentlemen and ladies -
I gave the wrong e-mail address to you folks last night for my
coworker who is selling his brewing equipment. Please get in touch with
Brian at: bbosveld(a)securecomputing.com. I have already forwarded Jeff, Joe,
and Greg's e-mails to Brian.
Just to be clear, don't e-mail me if you want his kit; my e-mail is going to
be spotty at best in the next few days.
-Drew, who needs to take better notes before he goes home.

Subject: [SPHBC] AG brewer selling his things here in the Cities.
A friend of mine from work, Brian Bosweld, is getting out of the homebrew
hobby. He's been brewing for some time with a pretty nice rig...but wants
to get rid of it, and would prefer to sell it to local homebrewers. So
here's a list of what he has, and what he'd like for it. I also have
pictures of all of it, but I'm having some problems with sending the
pictures home through the corporate e-mail system. But if you want to see
something, throw me a line off-list and I'll see what I can do.
If you want to get in touch with Brian, you can e-mail him at brian.bosveld
at securecomputing.com.
Wants these to be sold together:
http://www.kegs.com/hbpropkg.html
Sabco Keg conversion mash/brew kettle with thermometer and valve $150.00
http://www.kegs.com/burner.html
(Includes really big propane tank)
Burner for Sabco kettle w/propane $100.00
And with those he would recommend the following pieces below as well:
Large Immersion Chiller - RIMS
Chillzilla
Marsh pump
>From Brian: "With all of this one can set up a RIMS system (you can hold a
mash within a degree of the desired temp - really nice)."
To be sold together:

Polarware Kettle (10 Gal) $85.00
False Bottom for Polarware $20.00

Johnson Refrigerator Thermostat $20.00
>From Brian: "I have a few carboys (three 5 galon and two 6 gallon) as well
as numberous little odds and ends. Many comercial tap handles ($5.00 each).
Stuff people can pick through and make offers on."
I'm not currently on the MHBA list; if anyone wants to copy it over, go
ahead. Hope this doesn't look like highway robbery to too many people.
Cheers,

I have a friend heading over to Australia and we were wondering if
there are any good beers or Brewpubs to check out in Sydney or
Melbourne?
Thanks.
