August 7th is AHA National Mead Day and the Minnesota Home Brewers Association
will be holding it's August meeting at Midwest Supplies from 12-3. We will be
holding mead making demos and discussing new improved techniques to make this
ancient beverage. We will dispell the myth that you should heat your must and
wait years for your mead to be ready to drink. If you would like to make a mead
or need help from experienced mead makers we encourage you to bring your
equipment and ingredients. The information that we will be covering is included
in this handout produced for the AHA national conference by Steve Piatz
http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/attachments/0000/4795/Mead_Maker_of_t….
We will providing snacks and commercial examples of meads available in the Twin
Cities for club members. We also encourage you to bring any mead, beer, or
cider that you would like to share with the club. Experienced mead judges will
also be on hand to give you feedback on how to improve your mead.

Hey All,
I'm bailing to NYC and I'll be selling off all of my home brew
equipment. I put up a list on Google [1] of all the items. If you have
a current MHBA or St. Paul club membership, I'll cut 50% off the
price. If you're interested in buying everything, we can also
negotiate a price.
