This coming Friday is the last day for the MHBA to reduce our Saints game
order. I'll be sending back most of the tickets that have not been paid for
at that point. We ordered 50 once again (we sold 49 each of the past two
years), but haven't had quite that many people sign up, and haven't seen
checks from many who told me they were coming.
If you want to tailgate with the club at the Saints game, Thursday, May
21st, then please say so NOW, then send a check, payable to MHBA to John
Longballa, 1211 Minnehaha Ave W, Saint Paul, 55104.
If you spoke up earlier, but didn't send your money--do it NOW, please. I'm
returning tickets that were not paid for.
Thanks,
John
The 50 tickets are gone. I will be replying individually to everyone who will be receiving tickets.

MhBA'ers -
Just got the word from the good folks at the Great Taste of the Midwest that they're allocating 50 tickets once again to our club for the Great Taste of the Midwest. I will coordinate it again - 4 tickets max per person. They are still $35. I will accept payment by PayPal or check - first come, first served. (Please add $2 if paying by PayPal to cover the amount they take out, plus postage.) When it sells out, I will refund unfulfilled PayPal payments, rip up checks if you paid that way.
The event held outdoors, rain or shnine, on August 8, 2009, from 1-6pm, in Olin-Turville park in Madison, Wisconsin. It's considered the second-largest craft beer event in the US (after the Great American Beer Festival in Colorado.) There will be over 100 breweries represented, with well over 500 beers.

Beer Wars LIVE - REMINDER
April 16, One Night Only
We thought you'd be interested in seeing the message and passion of small brewers making it to the big screen. We haven't seen the film yet, but have heard great things and many of our colleagues are interviewed in the film.
Here's a message from the films director, Anat Baron.
Beer WarsIn 8 days, a very special event is coming to movie theaters across America. Beer Wars Live combines the new documentary film Beer Wars with a talk show style panel immediately following. The film's message is simple -- it's time to provide consumers with choice and allow them access to the beers they want to drink.
This event is as mainstream as it gets. Few independent documentaries are screened in 440 theaters (even if only for one night) and no documentary about beer has ever screened in any movie theater
I hope that you'll come out to support this film and event created and produced by an entrepreneur whose story of bringing this film out mirrors that of craft brewers trying to get their beer to market. Please help support the craft beer movement by showing up at a theater near you.
Check out the website http://beerwarsmovie.com/
I hope to see you next Thursday via satellite.
Anat Baron
