Subject: Fundraiser - FREE Summit Beer!
Hey, Al -
Michael Corrigan here. It's been a while since we hung out in BJCP class.
Anyway, thought I'd run this past you to see if/how comfortable you feel
about sharing it with the many local beer supporters and lists:
Friday, May 15
6:00p - 8:30p
Summit Brewery
Fundraiser to support HFC (www.highlandfriendshipclub.com) a nonprofit that
provides services andactivities for teens and young adults with
disabilities.
FREE Food
FREE Beer!
Private tour of Summit
Donations appreciated, but not required. If you can't afford to donate,
we'll buy this round. Come have a fun evening with family and friends, and
learn why this is one of the up-and-coming organizations in the Metro (and
why it is receiving calls from around the country)!
Questions? e: corr0050(a)umn.edu
Thanks, Al, et al. I hope this finds you well!
Best,
Michael.-

Hello fellow homebrewers.
The Library will be at the Big Brew this weekend! There are some new additions that should be in this week so get ready to get your read on.
Bring your books to return so others can have a chance to read them. I have a list of who has books checked out and I will be hunting you down!
Cheers,
Jon Messier

The Beer Dabbler Showcase runs from May until October and includes stops in
11 cities in Minnesota and South Dakota. The festival will showcase a wide
range of beer from hometown favorites to imports. The Beer Dabbler has
partnered with Rock the Cause to provide live music and benefit a local
charity at each festival stop.
"The Beer Dabbler is a festival for people like me," says creator Matt
Kenevan. "I love beer, but I'm not a beer snob. The Beer Dabbler is a place
for enthusiasts to gather and enjoy the golden goodness."
The Beer Dabbler Showcase launched in 2009 and combines creator Matt
Kenevan's love of good beer, local music, and community contribution through
charity. The Beer Dabbler Showcase features primarily regional beers from
microbreweries, but without exception, every highlighted beer tastes great.

First priority for the tasting session will be given to people who have taken the BJCP exam prep class and who have taken the BJCP exam. There is room for 18 people.

I switched from Promash to Beersmith a couple years back and was stuck =
with the issue of how do I get my sessions/recipes out of promash. As a =
result I wrote a little app that takes promash files(.rec) and converts =
them into beer xmlfiles which are readable by several different brewing =
apps (beersmith, Beertools Pro, Qbrew).
You can download it here: =
