Yes it found a new home on sunday. Older beer fridge - free

Older fridge (GE)looks bad works good will hold about 5 corni kegs has a co2 manafold regulator and a free 15 lb co2 tank (incentive to pickup the fridge). Needs to go this weekend Ron Wolfgram 612-805-3376

A reminder for anyone not checking the website SEPT MHBA MEETING: FLAT EARTH BREWING St.Paul, MN - SAT, SEPT 8, Noon-3pm The September meeting of the Minnesota Home Brewers Association will be held at FLAT EARTH BREWING, the Twin Cities newest brewery, at 2035 Benson Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55116 on Saturday, Sept. 8 from noon-3pm. The Technical Topic will be kegging. The Style of the Month for July is Northern English Brown - so if you have one brewed, bring it along and join the Style of the Month Club awards program. If you have a Strong Ale that you did not bring in to August's Style of the Month, bring that in too. (Any other beers, ciders or meads you'd like to bring for evaluation would be welcome also!)

Sept. Meeting?

Let's also note that spouses are welcome -- both for the roadside cleanup and the feed afterwards. Just let me know if you're planning to bring someone so we can have enough food on hand. The menu includes ribs with Rick's secret rub, BBQ chicken, potato salad, chips and a selection of beers and mead on tap on the club jockeybox. There's also homemade root beer. If any non-carnivores are coming, let me know. We currently have a couple open taps on the jockeybox if anyone has a keg they're particularly eager to share. Club members and potential trash collectors, Recently, Hennepin County erected new signage proclaiming the Minnesota Home Brewers Association proudly adopted Shady Oak Road between Minnetonka Boulevard and Excelsior Boulevard. We did mention that adoption has responsibilities right? Yours truly signed a contract with Hennepin County stating that our club will keep this two mile stretch of road reasonably clean for the next two years. Based on your positive responses, this should work out nicely and is a good community volunteer effort. The first clean up date is set for September 15th and the clean up begins at 10:00 am. Fine print: Orientation: Before we begin picking up, we need a short orientation. Yes, I know you know how to pick up stuff but we do need to plan the event, do it safely, and keep parked cars along the roadside to a bare minimum. Also, we need to exchange phone numbers so if first aid or other assistance is needed, it will be a phone call away. Let's begin the day at about 9:30 with some home roasted black coffee at: Paul Dienhart place 2344 Nottingham Ct. Minnetonka, MN 55305 Things to bring: Boots or strong shoes, gloves, nail-on-a-stick, sunglasses, cap, sunscreen, water jug, bug juice, cell phone, etc. Please, no banners or signs along the roadway. After work (fun stuff): You were concerned we hadn't considered this? Since many of you will leave your cars at Paul's place, it is logical to return and get them. It seems highly logical to provide the workers with some sort of stronger refreshments and good food since this undertaking is hard work. Paul has also volunteered to remain behind and cook up some wonders on his new BBQ. Rumor has it that a secret dry rub previously used at a St. Paul church will be used on pork ribs and maybe a chicken or two will get tossed in for good measures. We will have good food and beverages for all volunteers. So there you have it. See you September 15, 9:30 am at Paul's place.
