Sorry about the other email. There should have been a picture in it.
I've put it in the attached Word doc instead.

Just a bit misleading. It's not aimed at Minnesota brewers only. It's
across the board:
for wine & alcohol:
12.18 The following excise tax is imposed on all distilled spirits and
12.19 wine manufactured, imported, sold, or possessed in this state:
for beer:
The following excise tax is
13.27 imposed on all fermented malt beverages that are imported,
13.28 directly or indirectly sold, or possessed in this state:
13.29 (1) on fermented malt beverages containing not more than
13.30 3.2 percent alcohol by weight, $2.40 _$35.32_ per 31-gallon
13.31 barrel; and
13.32 (2) on fermented malt beverages containing more than 3.2
13.33 percent alcohol by weight, $4.60 _$37.52_ per 31-gallon barrel.
13.34 For fractions of a 31-gallon barrel, the tax rate is
13.35 calculated proportionally.
I'm not saying this is ok, just look at the changes they are proposing!
It would hurt any micro/craft brewer who sells beer in Minnesota.

The previous Swally email about his new baby boy, had links that
did not open, so try these to see the "Future Little

Barb and I had a baby boy recently!
Here are the stats:
Joseph (Joey) Michael Swalinkavich
Born 3/30/2005, 7:16pm
Born at Woodwinds hospital in Woodbury.
He was 8 lbs, 12.5 oz, 20'' long
http://www.mnbrewers.com/images/swally/babyboyswalinkavich1.jpghttp://www.mnbrewers.com/images/swally/babyboyswalinkavich2.jpghttp://www.mnbrewers.com/images/swally/prouddad.jpghttp://www.mnbrewers.com/images/swally/freshoutoftheoven.jpg
Barb had a long labor and she ended up having a C-Section. The C-Section
didn't take long and we had a bright eyed baby boy! A few days after
being home, Joey had a tear duct infection, which we needed to bring him
to Childrens Hospital for 3 days. Both Barb and Joey are doing better.
Now Barb and I are enjoying our little Joey at home. Not much time now
for sleepng, homebrewing...
Cheers!,
