At the Big Brew day at Lucid Brewing to receive the free malt to brew a 5 gallon batch of
beer,
Do we use one of the recipes from the AHA web site listed below?
That is base malt not extract, correct?
Can we tweak the recipes?

1968 London ESB ale yeast, a similar strain that is slightly less flocculent.

Subject: [mnbrewers] AHA BIG BREW DAY at Lucid Brewing
Hey MHBA,
Neil
Bromenshenkel<https://www.facebook.com/neil.bromenshenkel?group_id=45246…, and
I are working on getting AHA Big brew at Lucid again this year! We'd love to have you
out on May 4th!
This year we are inviting a few other clubs to join us as well and are opening up to the
public. Part of Big brew day is about getting together with new brewers and learning from
your friends. We get a lot of people interested in learning in homebrewing but are scared
to join a club. This should be a good intro for them. This year we are also getting
Cargill to do a presentation on malt!
We are asking that you sign-in/register if you are coming. WE ARE LIMITING SPACE so that
it's not a crazy event, if you show up unregistered, you will get BOOED. If you show
up with brewing equipment and haven't registered, we'll ask you to keep it
packed up. To many open flames becomes a real safety issue. goto:

An added bonus: If you choose to brew one of the three AHA suggested recipes, Cargill and
Lucid will provide malt for a 5 gal batch!
Cheers,
Jon Messier
