At the Big Brew day at Lucid Brewing to receive the free malt to brew a 5 gallon batch of beer,
Do we use one of the recipes from the AHA web site listed below?
That is base malt not extract, correct?
Can we tweak the recipes?

2013 AHA Big Brew Recipes
This year's Big Brew recipes come from the 7th annual Great American Beer Festival Pro-Am Competition. For more information on the competition and it's sponsors, please visit the website.
This year's gold medal went to American Homebrewers Association member Jay Shambo for his More Fun Blonde. Jay's Belgian blonde ale was brewed at New Belgium Brewing Company in Fort Collins, CO after winning 1st in the Belgian Light category of the Liquid Poetry Slam.
The silver medal in the pro-am was awarded to Scott Pointon. Scott, a member of both the AHA and the Brewers of South Suburbia, won for Pointon's Proper- an English style dark mild brewed at RAM Retaurant & Brewery in Wheeling Ill.
AHA member Kyle Sisco took home the bronze medal for his recipe for a Classic American Pilsner. Kyle's bronze medal winning recipe was brewed at Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery in Minneapolis, MN after it won Best of Show in the Minnesota Craft Beer Week.

*The original Pointon's Proper recipe calls for Wyeast 1768 English Special Bitter ale yeast, which is unfortunately unavailable currently. The AHA recommends using Wyeast 1968 London ESB ale yeast, a similar strain that is slightly less flocculent.
