As it is clear from the number of emails I have received that there are
plenty of people who are still interested in cider; feel free to keep
sending requests and I will put you on a list in the off chance that we can
perhaps get > 250 Gallons of cider this year. Due to the apple shortage the
orchard hasn't been able to provide me with as much information as they
normally would so I don't expect to get any answers on this for about a
month. I will reach out to them too see the feasibility is next week, and
if they say no I suppose I can follow up with some other orchards and see
what happens. More to come.....
I spoke to the orchard yesterday and they won't be able to confirm the date
of pressing until mid October due to the apple shortage (and the logistical
complications that has created for them) but it sounds like we should be
roughly on target for late October / early November. I don't believe this
will impact the price, but I will let everyone know as soon as I have more
information. At this point I'm going to cut off registration as almost all
of the 250 gallons have been spoken for. There may be some extra available
the day of as it always seems someone doesn't show up. I'll update everyone

It's that time of year again,
We will be doing another Club Cider buy from the same orchard as last year.
The intention is to do the drop off at Learn to Homebrew day again (Nov 3 -
Barley John's), but I have to get that solidified. The price will be $4 a
gallon again and you will need to supply your own vessel(s) (ideally 5
gallon buckets). I will inquire upon the varieties of apples used once the
orchard knows more, but I have always been pleased with the quality and
blend. Please let me know how much you would like in the next couple weeks,
ideally in 5 gallon quantities. I will update you all when I have confirmed
date & location. Club members will get first preference. Please let me know
