Subject: Weekend Help @ Midwest
Date: Fri, 4 Jan 2008 19:28:30 +0000
Midwest Homebrewing and Winemaking Supplies in St. Louis Park is looking for some enthusiastic extra weekend help Saturdays (10-5pm) and/or Sundays (11-3pm). We'd like homebrew experience (all-grain and winemaking experience are a major plus). Most likely, weekend help would be helping customers on the sales floor, but could potentially help with packing orders, filling grain orders, repackaging products, helping customers who call the advice line, and taking orders over the phone. I would recommend anyone interested to stop in to the store and ask for Dave.
We're located at:
3440 Beltline Blvd.
St. Louis Park, MN 55416

Pete
Thanks Chris! This is a great service!

Congrats to the 2007 Midwest Homebrewer of the Year, Joe Formanek.
It went down to the wire with Joe coming from behind.
Standings are here: http://sphbc.truthbrew.com/mwhboy/
There were 549 brewers or brew teams who competed in twelve contests in
2007. Of those 549 brewers or teams, only 261 earned points in the
standings.
The 2007 trophy will be awarded at the Upper Mississippi Mash-Out awards
ceremony on January 26th.
For info on the UMMO '08: http://mnbrewers.com/events/mashout/
Joe will receive a hand carved wood trophy similiar to the one displayed
here: http://sphbc.truthbrew.com/mwhboy/prize.htm
Northern Brewer (http://northernbrewer.com/) will also be donating a
gift certificate.
This is my last year as the MHY stat guy. For 2008 Patrick Jaszewski,
another SPHBC brewer, will be taking over the duties.
Happy new year and good luck in your brewing in 2008.

I am looking to upgrade some equipment and would love to buy a mega pot 10 gallons or greater, preferably with ball valve and thermometer. If anyone
is interested in selling one or know where I might find a used one, please let me know. This email is fine. I can also be contacted at my work
phone: 612-348-8094.
Thanks,
Michael
