OK, Maybe you don't have adequate space for this wonderful brewery but
what about an incredible hot liquor tank. True, it looks somewhat
similar to a household hot water heater but think about the advantages.
1. Automatic temperature control
2. 40 gallon capacity
3. Use with pressure or gravity feed
4. Price you just can't beat!
5. Works with natural gas or converts to propane.
I originally thought about using this wonderful gray vessel in the
enlarged garage brewery but realized I had more brewing capacity than
consumers.
Anyone interested? Going away next week.
PS. It does NOT leak!
Rick

Subject: [SPHBC] HOPS Brew system for sale
Anyone interested in the Maple Grove HOPS brewing system.
Steam jacketed system. There is a mash/liquor tank and a boil kettle.
4 fermenters and 7 serving tanks. My information is limited. But all
brewing equipment is included with the sale. I assume buyer would be
responsible for removal of the system.
If anyone is interested let me know. I can get you in contact with the
seller. My guess is someone may be able to pick it up for $15K to $20K.
Can someone forward this to the MnBrewers list for me.
If interested please respond to brewdog(a)mcleodusa.net

The July meeting of the Northern Ale Stars will be next Saturday, July 30th

the grill fired up, so bring along something to put on it as well as a side
dish to share with the group. Also, Dave requests everyone bring along a
cheese to match with the homebrew/commercial beer they bring.
Ranchero Swenson is at 2646 Lakewood Road in Lakewood Township
(218-525-3723). The link below will take you to a map and more detailed
directions.

See you there.
Cheers!
OK, I work with a lot of Open Source (as in free) software on a daily
basis. Now for fun there is open source beer. Take a look at

Is anyone collecting this stuff?
Here's the info for Eden Prairie.
Our operational goal for our treated water is the following:
* Total Hardness 90-100 mg/l
* Calcium Hardness 60 mg/l
* Total Alkalinity 50 – 70 mg/l
* pH 8.9—9.2
* Free Chlorine 1.0—1.2 @ plant effluent
* Fluoride 1.2 mg/l
* Turbidity <.2 nephelometric turbidity units
There are slight deviations from day to day, but only small
fluctuations. We do not monitor other minerals with any regularity.
