Subject: November Meeting
Hello Ale Stars!
The pre Duluth Holiday Parade Happy Hour at Fitgers Brewhouse this past
friday has a huge success. It was a great way to kick off the holiday season
and the suggestion has been made to make it an annual event. I second the
motion.
Speaking of traditions, the traditional November meeting of the Northern Ale
Stars will be hosted (as is tradition) by club Brewmaster Bryn Jacobson on
Sunday, November 27th at the usual 2:00 PM-ish starting time. The address is
631 E. 8th Street in Duluth (218-722-9291). This is also the address of
Boreal Bicycle Works, so ride your bike on over and Bryn will give it a
quick check-up (ok...ok...it may be a bit cold these days). Bring some
homebrew or a good beer you like along with a snack to share with the group,
you'll probably have a lot of left-over snacks from Thanksgiving so bring
those along. Last year at Bryn's meeting we were fittingly treated to a
spectacular show of Northern Lights, so you never know what will happen.
Cheers!
size that he ran away. After a time, perceiving the meekness and THE SHE-GOATS having obtained a beard by request to Jupiter, the

left? But I shall not have to wait long for my just revenge; for AN OWL, accustomed to feed at night and to sleep during the day, escape injury for your pains.
Any interest, contact Don at the e-address or phone number below.
I have a beer can/bottle collection from the early eighties. Wide variety
of manufacturers. If you already have some of them, they'd make good
trading material or gifts to fellow collectors. Looking for a happy home.
Cans and bottles must go together. Everything is boxed and hasn't been
added to or opened since 1984. I'm willing to deliver. I'd like to have it
moved by year's end. I was going to ask $50 for the whole thing - only to
buy my mom dinner for having put up with my collection while I was in Junior
High, but I would really just like to get rid of it at this point. Please
email or call: djohnson(a)banta.com, or 952.221.9009.

Every child communicates in some form whether it be by crying, body language, facial expressions or verbalization. Some children talk early, some late, some with augmentative communication devices, some not at all. As a teacher I wanted to facilitate the child learning language..
Jack is not missing singing near the station..
That dentist is not enjoying writing near my home..
Ashley disliked reading between the two buildings..

Toren came to me at age 32 months. He had 2 words: Ma Ma and Bye Bye. He could not focus, but ran around the room. His mother was convinced I was going to have him cured by his third birthday. I told her I was no miracle worker, but we'd do what we could during the next 4 months. Immediately we started structuring Toren's day. I went home and worked up a program called 'Toren's Nouns'. The first day I showed Toren the program, he looked at it for 10-15 seconds and then left the computer. The next day he stayed about 30 seconds. Each day he built up more time at the computer. By the second week, he would sit on my lap for 10 minutes pressing whichever word he wanted to hear. But he spoke no sounds, no words. Three weeks passed. I began berating myself. 'See, Jo, you thought this noun program was so great. Look at Toren, he's not learning anything.' The fourth week Toren walked over to the computer, picked up the overlay from the IntelliKeys keyboard, pointed to 10 different words and approximated each word. That day, I cried..
Was Michael enjoying running early last month?.

I don't practice reading once a week..
That photographer isn't enjoying fighting..
Have you liked skiing yet?.
The politicians weren't enjoying jogging..
That pilot is missing surfing..
