Does anyone have any specific recommendations for a good brewpub in Las Vegas?
I've got a business meeting there in a couple of weeks and was thinking of
taking some co-workers out for some good beer.
Various web sites list the following:
Gordon Biersch
Main Street Station - aka Triple 7
Monte Carlo Brewpub
Chicago Brewing
Tenaya Creek
Big Dog's Brewing
Ellis Island
Thanks!

Hello,
The first round of judging will be held on March 20th and 21st as it
says on the website. This is a Saturday and Sunday. Rooms have been
blocked off for Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th. We blocked off
Friday night incase anyone would be coming to St. Cloud the night before
the judging.
If you have more please feel free to contact us,
James Michael

Did the judging dates change? I thought the website said the 20th &
21st. Can you clarify the 1st round dates/times?
Thanks

Subject: Rooms for March Mashness
Greetings everyone!
I have spoken to the Ramada Limited and again have some rooms blocked
off for March 19-20 for judging and March 26-27 for the BOS. They have
3 smoking rooms with 2 queen beds, 2 nonsmoking rooms with 1 king, and 1
nonsmoking leisure suite w/ 1 king and a pullout bed. These rooms are
the same for either weekend and the rate is $70 for any of the rooms.
These rooms will be blocked off until March 4, then they go back to the
general public. If you are interested in a room for the first weekend,
you need either confirmation # 103035 or mention group GCBEER. If
interested in the second weekend, confirmation # 103036 or CGCTWN.
The phone number for the Ramada is (320)253-3200, fax in case anyone
wants it is (320)253-7082. I hope this information finds you in enough
time to reserve your room and join the CloudyTown Brewers for March
Mashness 2004.
Bottoms Up!!

Now he tells me that clear bottles, just like the 106 that I filled last Saturday and Sunday with two batches of wonderfully dry mead flavored with black currants, can not be entered into COC. I finally bottle something that doesn't have hops and what happens? Can't enter them. How about if I dipped them in brown or green house paint? Would that work?

JUST A QUICK COMPETITION REMINDER
The selection of our club entry for the club only Mead competition will be
at the March 18th BJCP class.
Only 2 month to go - hopefully you have all started your entries.
Please remember that the bottles must be 10-14 oz, amber or green.
Clear bottles are not allowed for club only competition.
