So I'm an amateur with kegging. What is the easiest method of transporting beer from a keg to brew club? I just tried filling a 22 oz bottle from a picnic tap and I made quite a mess. I'm looking for cheap and effective methods. Any advice would be great!

Breweries springing up around Saint Paul are a powerful testament to our current fascination with the sudsy stuff. However, Minnesota’s capitol city has a long and rich history with beer, starting with the first brewery opened in Saint Paul in 1849. Today, Summit and other breweries share the city with thriving brew pubs, taprooms, and their historic predecessors—the imposing old Hamm’s and Schmidt Breweries, to name a few.
Start your Saturday night early and seek out a new go-to brew with Doug Hoverson, author of Land of Amber Waters. This meandering three hour tour of Saint Paul’s hoppy past and present features samples, conversation and hidden gems along the way.
This is being organized by the Minnesota History Center.
As many of you know I was not in MN a lot of the Spring and Summer. While recently assessing the status of my brew house it turns out my and the neighbor kids did a bit of destruction to it. Damn kids. ;). Anyway, I won't have time to fix my brewery before my hops go bad. If anyone wants fresh "wet" cascades they are yours. I'll even help on brew day as I'm finally staying home for a while, at least until they tell me to fly somewhere else. :). Kramers cascades are great but I wasn't able to feed them as I should have. This is year 3 for me of his original rhizomes so it appears to be a lot to pick, but I don't know how much there is weight wise. I haven't cut them down yet. Wet I'd guess 8-16 oz., but who knows, it's hard to judge on the bine.
Cheers!
