I have made a reservation for Thurs. Feb. 21 at Cafe Maud. We will be ordering off the
menu and not be charged ANY corkage. Please put this on your calendars and let me know who
will be joing us. I know this is out there a bit, but getting a larger group in was a
little more difficult. Lori

New subject: [wine] Cafe Maud and other S. Mpls destinations
Greetings,
How was the evening at JP's? How was the
great Shiraz experimental wine?
Does anyone have an "IN" at First Course?
How about Corner Table?
Who was our Levain connection?
Now's the time to expand our list of destinations
and give our favs some much needed mid winter
business.
As we are w/out our kitchen, we're more inclined to
dine out on Thursday's or most any other day.
Appliances are here. Wolf is beautiful. Ditto
the LG fridge. Others are still in the boxes.

I hope you had a good time at ZAP. And I missed jP. Per your questions I
do know Scott at Corner Table, and would be happy to give him a call. For
other venues, would anyone be interested in Blackbird on West 50th? Or
Saffron downtown? Just let me know what you think.
Though I love eating out - would anyone be willing to host a beef stew
dinner? Judging by the recent cold snap, that might be fun, too. I would be
willing to help cook, etc if that's of interest...
