A bit off topic.  Lambic is where wine meets beer.  One of my favorite events. $20 and a bottle of "sour" beer gets you in.  11 to 3.

Cheers,
Jim

Event preparation
Hello WTWBA Participants!

We are less than 24 hours from the event, here are details to help make this event run smoothly for everyone.

Location/Time
Republic Seven Corners
221 Cedar Ave
Minneapolis, MN 55454
Check-in begins at 10am and the event begins at 11am. Republic opens for brunch at 10am, so we encourage you to enjoy a meal with our gracious hosts once your bottles are checked in.

We  will be using email, SMS & Twitter (experimental) to announce when and where your bottles will be poured. We recommend you write your bottle numbers on your punch cards so you will know which numbers to watch for. If you have not entered your mobile number or Twitter handle yet, please login to our registration website to enter them.
Check-in Procedure
Check-in will open earlier this year than in previous years to make sure everyone has time to check in their bottles before the event begins. If your register and number all of your bottles, your check-in experience will be much faster.

To make sure everything goes smoothly, please see the items below and prepare accordingly:
Registration Closing - 10pm Tonight
Registration for tomorrow's event is closing at 10pm tonight, October 2. This registration process is the only method we have for announcing beers, so if you would like to be notified via SMS or Twitter that your bottle is being poured, it needs to be registered by 10pm this evening. Click here to sign in and register additional beers.

You are welcome to bring as many bottles as you would like, but we can only track and announce what is registered on the website.
Welcome Beer
Local brewers and long-time Friends of WTWBA, Oude Oak, have provided a keg of a yet-to-be-released beer spawned from an idea they had at a WTWBA event. The yeast culture for The Parametric was derived from dregs harvested from bottles at a the WTWBA Mpls event in 2011. This Welcome Beer is their contribution to the event and will not require any ticket punches.

Big Thanks to Oude Oak!!
Glassware & Shirts
WTWBA teku glasses plus new shirts and hoodies have arrived! We will have everyone's tekus who upgraded and shirts for those of you who pre-ordered. You will receive your pre-ordered items right after check-in tomorrow.

Thank you again to everyone for what you contribute to the event. This is 100% participant-driven. We could not pull this off without you digging into your cellars and bringing your gems to share.

We will see you tomorrow!
