Greetings,
I've bee off line for a few days, not sure if this went
through or not.
Per Jason's note, we're invited to their open house
on 4 October. we're probably busy w/ an
old college and house mate of mine.
Anything going on this week?
Kimball Inn in Hurley is a hoot. Adventurouse, spicey
food w/ a German twist. Usual fair also available.
The Scenic Cafe, 10 miles NE
of Duluth, has really great food, reasonably priced and
half bottles of of Nic Feu and Laurent Champagne for $18
and $16 (cost? retail?) repsectively.

Here's the invite to the Open Studio party on October 4th. I hope many of
the Thursday group can make it. (Warning - there are going to be a TON of
people there, many in the wine business but many that are not . DON'T BRING
super precious bottles to open, just good affordable wines). Should be a
great night!

great painter, and in a previous life I was a photographer. We live a
creative life that we're proud of and want to share with an open house of
wine and art on Thursday October 4th.
Kallsen Studio is the name of our creative space in Northeast Minneapolis,
and on that evening we're opening it up to our friends in the wine world.
Expect an evening of great music, outstanding food, and LOTS of people.
Don't expect a quiet evening, sitting down, or intimate conversation!
You're invited to our open house, which is roughly scheduled for 5pm to 10pm
(or later). Feel free to bring a bottle to share if you wish (nothing too
fancy please) (but nothing too cheap, either!).
The studio is at 1618 Central Avenue Northeast, in the historic Thorpe
building (big white building just north of the railroad tracks, one mile due
north of Surdyk's, Bulldog NE, and Fugaise) ... the same building that
houses Diamonds Coffee Shop.
Our space is Studio 6 in the lower level ... parking on the south side of
the building gets you closest to the studio (enter lower south door and
you're there).
If you can make it, please REPLY AN RSVP to this email ... I need to plan on
how much food to order.
