MILL CITY FARMERS MARKET: Holiday stews prepared by local chefs mark the end of the outdoor market season. Guests chefs include JP Samuelson from JP American Bistro, David Jones from the Marsh and Al Potoyndy-Smith from Bryant-Lake Bowl. 10 a.m. Sat. at the Outdoor Cafe. Of course, I am a little out of it and didn't realize there are two industry tastings this evening, 10.11.07: *Vino Source at 1 p.m. - ? unsure of location *Quality from 3 - 8 p.m. - usually at the warehouse in Bloomington I don't know the location of the Vino Source tasting. Greetings, I've bee off line for a few days, not sure if this went through or not. Per Jason's note, we're invited to their open house on 4 October. we're probably busy w/ an old college and house mate of mine. Anything going on this week? Kimball Inn in Hurley is a hoot. Adventurouse, spicey food w/ a German twist. Usual fair also available. The Scenic Cafe, 10 miles NE of Duluth, has really great food, reasonably priced and half bottles of of Nic Feu and Laurent Champagne for $18 and $16 (cost? retail?) repsectively.
