Hey, slackers.....uh....I mean, judges, Sarah needs your help here to
get this thing done.
At the last Upper Mississippi Mash-Out we DID NOT seat all people who
signed up to judge because of the overwhelming response. Part of that is
out of town judges, yeah, but if you want to be considered as a good,
active, dependable judge, maybe you might want to consider helping out
here. Just saying.
These things all come into consideration come January when we will have
more judges than we need for the 10th anniversay Mash-Out blow out. Is
this a veiled threat? No, it's a fact. ;-)
Yes, it it summer, I get that, but it's not a major time commitment.
Also, if you're a not a BJCP judge but interested in learning you can be
paired with an experienced judge.

Hi All:
It was another banner year for entry into the MN State Fair
Homebrew Competition. Entry has closed and there are just shy of
500 entries!
Unfortunately, at this point we have no where near enough folks
signed up judge/steward 500 entries. Our webmaster, Rick, has so
kindly re-opened the registration page
<http://www.mashout.org/mnstatefair> for volunteer registration.
Please take a look at your schedule for the weekend of 8/20-21
and sign-up to judge or steward if you have any availability! As
we did last year, we will provide a State Fair admission ticket to
all volunteers so you can go back and see the Best of Show judging
live in-action or just enjoy the Fair at your leisure.
Thanks for your support of the competition!
