At the campout, there were some welding questions which led to a few people wanting to learn how to weld stainless and learn more about it. I will be running a class this fall on Saturday mornings from 6:00 AM until noon that will some-what mirror my daytime class of the same subject. There will be classroom and hands on. The classroom portion is all too often overlooked with other than daytime classes. All of my classes have substantial classroom time involved. I'm guessing this class will start the 3rd week in Sept later. The class would be 3 credits or about 80 hours in length. If you really want to learn how to weld stainless steel this is truly a minimum length class to do it correctly. My daytime class has 128 hours for stainless and 128 hours for aluminum for first year students. I teach all of the GTAW(tig/heliarc) at Anoka Tech. I will give the homebrew community the first chance at signing up because this class will fill up in a few days after I advertise it or send flyers out to the waiting list. If you are interested let me know and I will start a list on my own to make sure you get in. Class would not be held on the Autumn Brew Review or any other important drinking day.
