"For those interested in the history of brewing in Minnesota there is
currently an exhibit titled "Pioneer Brewmasters: Historic Brewing in the
Minnesota River Valley" happening at the Nicollet County Historical Society
in St. Peter (1 mile north of town on Hwy 169).
The exhibit will run until January 3, 2003 and contains numerous artifacts,
photographs, advirtisements and associated information pertaining to the
brewing industry along the Minnesota. Brewery histories from Chaska to the
headwaters of the River near Ortonville are covered. There were no less
than 14 cities that had breweries along the River (not including Twin
Cities Breweries) since 1852.
Tell your pals about this exhibit, as you will not see a regional
assemblage of historic brewing artifacts like this for a long time. We have
had great response to this exhibit. "
