Thanks Erik! I've been to Winehaven, and I've tried their meads - very
nice indeed! I like them better than White Winter actually. I'll pass
along the news about Vintage Days and the campout to the MhBA.

Al,
Just to let you know, I saw that the Winehaven Winery in Chisago City is
having a Vintage Days celebration. They are introducing new wines and will
give tours and show how winemaking is done. They said that they will be
having a Icewine that is a german tradition. I tried some in germany and
it is great, it is a sweet dessert wine. You might want to think about
going there that weekend of April 3 - 6. I will be going on the 5th to get
some honey. I wanted orange blossom but their supply is out until May so I
will be getting wildflower. I have never done a wildflower before. They
also have two very good meads you can try and purchase. Their website is

I thought you might be interested.\

ps Bruce will be reserving the campground next week. They don't take
reservations until April 1 and he will let you know on the exact weekend
for the campout, but he is thinking of the 3rd or 4th weekend of July, but
we will know next week
