Greetings homebrew fans, friends, family, and significant others. I
realize the greetings have become a little sparse and the traffic is
down a bit. Just wanted to peak your interest for this week end
activity at Great Waters. Saturday, we are having Gadget Day.
What's gadget day and what's in it for me? I'm glad you asked.
Gadget day is a day where you get to show and tell about your favorite
gadget. The process is simple. We call the meeting to order, have a
little business, possibly have a beer, and then the gadget contest
begins.
It works like this: You bring your gadget, you show and tell about
your gadget, and you get a beer. OK, maybe not a free beer but beer is
defiantly available. The more gadgets the better.
The real purpose of the event is to have some fun and showcase how much
different stuff is used by various brewers. So join the fun and dust
off (or build) that unique gadget and bring it along to gadget day.
Mike Swalinkavice is the originator of this idea and will be helping
with crowd control. Possibly he can do that drum roll used for comedy
shows that goes sort of like this "Pa dum cszzz"
Hope to see you this Saturday, 1:00 dull, at Greatwaters.
Here is a link for parking in St. Paul. (When you click on the parking
lot, it tells you how much it is, etc):

There's parking at the Excel center ramp off Kellogg Blvd.
Then you'd have to walk a few blocks past the Science Museum,
Rice Park, Landmark Center, etc... to Great Waters.
There's also a parking ramp in the Lawson Bldg. Just the
next block down from Great Waters.
