I know summer is winding down and everyone's trying to fit in one more trip to the lake, but it's important to support this competition. If you are a credentialed BJCP judge, please show up on one or both judging days. If you WANT TO BECOME a BJCP judge - this is a great way to begin your training! The contest management will pair you with a more experienced judge if you want to jump in with both feet. Otherwise, stewarding is a painless way to start learning about beer without worrying about the pesky judging portion.
