This is OUR REGION's AHA First Round for the AHA's National Homebrewing
Competition. It's been in St.Paul the last few years, and this year Madison is
getting a crack at it. Several Madison brewers have been coming over for our version of
it in St.Paul, and we should return the favor.
Also, Madison is a GREAT beer town, with many great brewpubs.
Finally, the Madison Homebrew Tasting Guild is a great bunch of folks! I've gotten
to know a few of them at the Great Taste of the Midwest the last few years - the SECOND
largest beer event in the nation.
All good reasons to make a serious effort to get to Madison to support their effort this
year! They will need BJCP and non-BJCP volunteers aplenty. Hope everyone can make it!
