My bad--
I shouldn't have made Dawn sound like an ogre, considering that she usually
can't wait to go to Fitger's and Twin Ports, and was more than willing to do
10 CA brewpubs on our recent vacation. I was just saying that this
particular weekend I was warned that we're not supposed to be focussed on
beer, but on getting the work done that we need to. She always puts the
pedal to the metal when we're on our way to Fitger's (her grandfather worked
there for 20+ years, and has the last can ever to come off the line!), just
not this time.
She's a fun-loving beer fanatic! Really!

Yes, but . . .
I'll be up there, but I'm supposed to be furiously painting Dawn's
grandparents' house, not imbibing! I get crusty looks just from
suggesting that we MIGHT get our sustenance very quickly at Twin Ports
Brewpub or Fitger's! The line, "we have to eat SOMEWHERE, SOMETIME!"
gets me in big trouble! :)
I'll try, though. ;-D
Ah, differences in spouses and situations. Sherry heard Fitgers'
underwriting ad on The Current last week and reminded me that we needed to
get up there this summer for beer and hiking.
I'm relatively certain that 'hiking' was not just an afterthought, but
their Imperial Stout at Winterfest _did_ have a profound effect on her.
