Hey everyone. I just wanted to send out a reminder email that the next MBHA meeting is on Wednesday, September 15th from 6-9 pm at the Black Forest Inn. 1 East 26th Street, Minneapolis MN 55404 (They have a parking lot on Nicollet Avenue.) We like to have an evening meeting once in a while for those who are not able to attend the usual Saturday morning meetings. I will be giving a brief presentation on brewing with unusual ingredients. Home brewed beers, meads, and ciders are welcome, but please be discrete. If you are at the Minnesota Renaissnace Festival this weekend, please stop by the Blue Lion Tent and say hello as we judge Byggvir's Big Beer Cup. (Sorry about the judging schedules have been made already.) We will also have demos at the Pavillion on both days at 11:30 am (mead making) and at 3:30 (pairing Fest beer & food with Michael Agnew). We will be announcing the Best of Show after the judging is completed on Sunday. If you entered the contest, you can pick up your score sheets (and hopefully prizes) at the Wednesday club meeting.
