Paid members of the Minnesota Home Brewers Association who attend the Saturday meeting at
the Northern Brewer Warehouse will receive a FREE, votive-style tasting glass with the
club logo laser-etched in the glass. Then, you will use the FREE glass to taste FREE
beer, mead and cider presented by fellow members of MHBA. It will be our own Winterfest
or Autumn Brew Review, except you don't have to pay $48.
This could be the only time in 2009 to get a club glass, and we specifically want to
reward members who attend meetings. Brad and Whitney Thorpe of Green Arrow Design will be
on hand to show their laser- etching handiwork, including glasses, bottles and tap
handles. Most beer festivals give out glasses with logo applications that can wear off
with use. Laser etching actually embeds the logo in to the glass, so you're stuck
with MHBA forever.

Hey, just a reminder that if you volunteered to bring a keg for tomorrow to make sure it
is at serving temperature and that you have co2 and a tap. (We have more selections that
we have room for on the jockey box.) If you have a jockey box that you can bring, please
let me know.
Also, Style of the Month/AHA Club Only is extract beers (at least 50% of the fermentables
need to be extracts). So, if the beer you are bringing was brewed with extracts, it will
be considered as a potential representative for MHBA. (If you would like to participate
in SOTM/AHA COC, but don't have enough to share with everyone, you can still bring
three bottles and be considered.)
(If you have a beer that has an original gravity larger than 1.080, you can still bring it
for credit on last month's SOTM.)
