Guys and Gals of the MHBA
Just when you never thought it could get any better well, here is an offer
you can't resist (hopefully). The Big Brew Day is on May 7th. I can't
invite the pub crawl to take a detour but you can consider stopping by and
helping with the festivities. As a long time member of the MHBA, I was
asked to assist with the daily duties.
What does this mean?
Good question winer. It means that what ever the big brew style is, it's
going to be a brewing at Garden View and the brewing will be in full swing
at noon.
What else? Well, you may also wish to also brew during the time of the
national homebrew celebration and you are more than welcome to bring
kettles, tanks, yeast, hops and all of that stuff needed to brew more beer.
I do have three outside garden hoses for cooling and if you turn them off
when done, everyone will be happy.
What in it for me?
Boy, the questions are really getting tough folks!! The Garden View BBQ
will be ready to rock and roll. I won't be able to cook and brew but the
grill will have a full tank of propane and will be equipped with tools and
things. Bring a dish to cook or a dish to share. Minnesota style.
What if I get thirsty?
There may be a few beers available for sampling. Rumor has it the club
cooler may be making an appearance. Bring samples to share just like any
festival.
What if it rains.
An old biker had a wise saying about bikes and rain. It is very similar to
these words of wit. "If it rains, you either stay outside and get wet or
you go inside. You can't drink beer in the rain."
So that's about all that's fit to print. Let me know in advance if you need
help, assistance, etc. This will be the MHBA May meeting so let's get ready
to rock and roll. I could use a little assistance.
Sincerely,
Rick OF
