It's at Scott Strand's house, the home of the BIG BREW (tremble and bow
before it's might all you mere 5, 10 or 15 gallon systems, HA, HA!!) system.
You could email Jeff (jdcotton(a)mmm.com) or Scott (sbstrand(a)mmm.com) if you
feel like it. Or just show up with beer. ;-) There are already people
set to brew, so as things stand now, there are no openings to get a batch of
beer out of the brew session, but heck, stop by and have a beer or three.

Greetings fellow brewers, Rick here with the first test of the EBAS
(emergency brewing announcement system). I just received the following
message from the St. Paul home brewers. Sounds like something is
cooking up across the river at least for this writer sitting on the west
side. Anyhow, I don't have the complete e-list put together yet so I
am copying this message to the barn.
The St. Paul Homebrewers are going to be brewing a 30 gallon
batch of Dopplebock this Sunday. The plan is to do a decoction mash. A
few of the guys have done one and the others are willing to learn.
Here are the details:
Start time is 9:30. Good things to bring is beer to share and muchies.
Feel
free to stop by, hang out, meet the guys, have some of the numerous
homebrews, shoot the breeze, watch some football, get a look at the big
brew system, ask questions, etc....
Here are the directions:
No matter where you're coming from, this is the easiest. Take 35E to
Maryland Avenue exit. Go East on Maryland to Burr (5 blocks). Take a
left
on Burr. Go two blocks to Ivy. Take a right. Bradley is the next
street.
Our garage is the driveway on your left just before you get to Bradley.
Look for a bunch of cars in the driveway and guys standing around. If
you
miss the driveway, Bradley only goes left. We are the second house on
the
left. 1335 Bradley St. in St. Paul."
So this concludes this test. Should this have been an actual
emergency................
Have a great week-end
Rick O
