Greetings all, It's hot and it's July and it's summer. So drink some cold beer! Now that you're in the right frame of mind, don't forget our upcoming events. July 16, 7-10pm Barley Johns in New brighton August 2-4, Campout at Collinwood Cty Park near Cokato Sept 7, Autumn HOMEbrew Review and the Autumn Brew Review tasting festival. October 5, AHA Club Only Comp, we'll be judging Strong Belgian Ales from around the nation. To make these events successful and easier on everyone, we need some help. First, I'm looking for a few MHBA members to help with the campout. So far I'm the head chef with Al Boyce working on music, and Rick Oftel supporting the food effort. I'll need at least 3 more people to round out the committee. Second, I need to put together a small group of volunteers for the Autumn HOMEbrew Review Competition. The members who worked on the Upper Mississippi Mashout did a great job, and I hope that with your help we can make the fall comp just as successful. Send me an e-mail.
