WE NEED YOU TO ENTER YOUR BEERS in the AHA National Homebrew
Competition for us to take home the trophy! We get the
following points for every winning beer in the first and second
round of the competition:
6 points - First Place
4 points - Second Place
2 points - Third Place
All normal BJCP categories are eligible, PLUS "NEW BREWER" -
for brewers who have never before entered the AHA NHC.
PLUS... NO POSTAGE THIS YEAR!! The competition will be held
HERE, so all you have to do is drop your beers off between
April 4-15 at Northern Brewer!
The MINNESOTA HOME BREWERS ASSOCIATION and the SAINT PAUL
HOMEBREWERS CLUB is sponsoring the 2005 AHA National Homebrew
Competition's First Round for the Midwest Region! The
competition will be held in Saint Paul, Minnesota on
April 29th and 30th, 2005. The Midwest Region includes:
* North Dakota
* South Dakota
* Nebraska
* Kansas
* Oklahoma
* Minnesota
* Iowa
* Missouri
* Wiscosin
We anticipate in the neighborhood of 500 entries in this region.

in winning the prestigious AHA Homebrew Club of the Year Award!

Entries will be accepted from April 4-15, 2005, only one bottle
per beer/mead entry. (3 bottles for cider.) Cost is $8 per entry
for AHA members, $12 for non-AHA members.
Checks should be made payable to: "AHA"
Include your AHA membership number, if applicable, on the check

AHA CONFERENCE BALTIMORE,MD - JUNE 16-17, 2005
If your beer or mead qualifies for the second round judging,
the AHA will mail you notice by May 20, 2005 with instructions
on how, when and where to send entries for second round judging.
WE NEED JUDGES:
We are looking for BJCP Judges for the competition. This is
a sanctioned AHA/BJCP competition, and BJCP points will be
awarded for judges, stewards and volunteers. For more
