Five years ago (before the club cider purchases--thank you, Mark Glewwe and Chris Smith!) I would phone Pine Tree Orchard in White Bear Lake and ask them to save me XX gallons of straight cider the next time they pressed, and they were happy to do it. They would phone me later and say, "we're pressing on Thursday, so pick up anytime after that". Although I didn't have kids at that time, I think that Pine Tree has activities for families on the weekends, making for guilt-free time spent chasing cider ingredients! John Personal. Professional.
