Good morning! Summit Brewing Company is excited to announce the recent Silver Medal win by its Pilsener at the 2012 Great American Beer Festival® (GABF) this past weekend. Pilsener won in the category of best Bohemian-Style Pilsener and was among 53 entries in the category. The GABF is the world’s largest commercial beer competition. This year, 185 beer judges from 11 countries selected the 2012 GABF winners, with 4,338 beers vying for medals. Judges awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals in 84 different beer categories and 134 styles. In 2010, Summit’s flagship Extra Pale Ale won the GABF silver medal in Classic English-Style Pale Ale category. Please let me know if you would like any additional details on the win!
