Beer lovers,
What a great year it has been. Stille Nacht, Dead Guy, Bells 7000,
Celebration, Mad Bitch, Dark Island, Nightmare Porter, Rochefort 6/8/10, Hop
Devil, Saison Dupont, Doggie Claws, Arcadia Nut Brown, Fantôme, Very Bad
Elf, everything Summit... You are the reason we were able to carry these
and many many more amazing beers. You are, hands down, the best beer
drinkers, the best customers in Minnesota. So good, in fact, that you
forced us to open The Happy Gnome to provide even more beers for the
educated and thirsty Saint Paul market. Thank you for your patronage and
support.
So, what can we do for you in 2006? How about:
Sunday Bloody Sunday, January 1, 2006

The Happy Gnome. Breakfast and the Bloody Mary competition will run from
noon until 2:00 p.m. this coming Sunday at The Gnome. Clear the cobwebs and
start off your year with a bang.

Beer 101 The Happy Gnome
Ever wondered what makes one beer better than another? Curious about why
some brewers use rice? Not sure what makes a beer a Lager or an Ale? Join
us for an informative look into what makes beer, beer. Joe Weiss, Director
of Sales for Sleeman and now brewery representative for Unibroue, will take
us on a sampling tour of various beer styles while we discuss how beer is
made. Pair this with some great finger food from Chef Camile at The Happy
Gnome for a fun filled evening. And even if you think you already know
everything there is to know about beer you still get to drink. Ticket cost
is $40.
