While it was expected to sell out, this was totally unexpected. I was on the phone quite a lot yesterday with the folks at Ticketworks, and they were swamped. It is my understanding that some of you may have thought you purchased tickets only to find out later that the event was sold out. I sincerely apologize for the confusion; however, Ticketworks is very good at tracking the order in which calls were received. So, had it not been for a glitch in the system, you would have found out immediately that there were no tickets available. I know that's probably not much consolation, but it's the best I have to offer. Whether you ended up getting tickets or not, thank you for the overwhelming support of the event. We're already talking about looking into a slightly larger venue next year, but don't expect a huge increase in the size. Winterfest always has been and shall remain an intimate event, where you get a chance to come in from the cold and sample some special beers from Guild members.
