Congratulations to all of the folks that participated, entered, judged, and commented and special congratulations to Jim LaRocque for putting this event on the map. I had initially hoped to help with this event but my time consuming family reunion has taken top priority for afternoons and week-ends. Here is a pitch for a future club event - counterflow filling. The whys (obvious if you want metals and can't enter kegs), the whens (when do you bottle vs enter in contest), and the hows (what style of goodies, technique, pressure, hose length, cleaning, temp, etc).
