Hi. I am looking to purchase a counter flow chiller, but have been reading some mixed
reviews. The main issue that I read about is cleaning.
- For the ones that use it, how do you clean it?
- Do you bake it to sanitize/evaporate water from it?
- Is back flushing enough to clean out hops (I use pellets)?
- Would I need to purchase some sort of hop filter ? And if that's the case what are
the effects of aromatic hops not getting in to my fermenter?
- What other upgrades/additions such as quick disconnects etc. are useful with the counter
flow chiller?
- Is inline thermometer a waste or a good addition?
