It was a later addition, but Schmaltz Brewing Company (http://
www.shmaltz.com) will also be at ABR.
Incidentally, here's a listing of some of the information about the
cask beers that will be at ABR...
August Schell - 1 pin Snowstorm 2006 (London Stout) and one pin of
the Pale (I'm dry hopping and filling the cask tomorrow, as a matter
of fact).
Barley John's - They are bringing something, but I'm not sure what yet.
Fitger's - a pin of Daisy Ale 8 (which must mean his daughter is
eight this year, man how time flies!) Daisy Ale is a hoppy amber
beer. Also, a pin of Big Boat Stout with what Dave describes as a
unique hopping schedule.
Great Waters - Who knows what Bob has up his sleeve?
Summit - Damien is up to something, but I'm not sure what.
Town Hall - Mike is bringing the award-winning 1800 British IPA.

WANNA SAMPLE FINE BEER?
Autumn Brew Review – Oct 7, 1-6pm
by Dave Berg
Do we really have to ask? Please mark your calendars for Saturday,
October
7 for this year's Autumn Brew Review. The event, which will
feature 100+
beers from more than 30 regional craft brewers, will again be held in
Downtown Minneapolis at Peavey Plaza (located on Nicollet Avenue
and 11th
Street).
The event is a perfect venue to sample several unique flavors of fresh
craft beer, many of which are not available in liquor stores.
Attendees
receive a commemorative glass and unlimited samples throughout the
day.
The event also features live music from a variety of Twin Cities
bands and
several food vendors.
Tickets are $25 in advance for general admission (1 p.m. - 6 p.m.)
or $35
for VIP tickets (which allows you to enter the event one hour early to
start sampling and have more "quality time" with the brewmasters).
All ticket proceeds benefit the Minnesota Craft Brewer's Guild, a
non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Minnesota breweries
and the
importance of carrying on the tradition of brewing for future
generations
to enjoy.

Subject: ABR - Participating Breweries
Someone in the know,
Does anyone have a list of the participating breweries for ABR this
year. The
www.mncraftbrew.org site has a non-functioning link for
a list of last years participants but that is all I've been able to
turn up.
thanks
bob
