Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Do you know what time it is? Rather than subject you to stupid human tricks or lyrics that match old melodies, the snow is gone and the club road is dirty. I would appreciate it sincerely if we could give it a clean up shot next Saturday starting @ 9:00. I'll have the customary donuts and coffee and we'll meet 1/2 block north of Mainstreet in the parking lot on the west side of Shady Oak Road. If you can't arrive at 9:00, arrive when you can and meet the crew along the road. Remember, we need to wear orange vests and we have a great supply of garbage bags. Wear heavy shoes and bring gloves. The snow is really gone. It covered all the ground. A few years ago our club picked a 2 mile stretch of road to clean and beautify. Yours truly was supposed to organize a club event about three times a year but unfortunately the organizational expertise had a hick-up last fall and the task never was accomplished. Long story short.... Meet 9:00 am MAY 9th in the parking lot 1/2 block of Mainstreet on the west side of Shady Oak Road. Free home roast coffee, a box of donuts, and all the road kill trash you wish to keep!!!! P.S. I'm setting up a beer event early in the morning but should arrive by 9:00.
