They could be selling (good!) beer from Rock Bottom's regular licensed
microbrewery in Boulder CO, called Boulder Brewing Company. Rock Bottom
Corp. is a conglomerate of brewpubs, micros, and restaurants. They can
sell to themselves as long as they do it through a licensed local
distributor. Goose Island does a similar thing in Chicago, having two
brewpubs but also a separate microbrewery, which supplies a large local
trade including a "Goose Island" location at O'Hare Airport.

Or has that changed?

As long as it's not Granite City and that horrid beer they sell, all
is well. I've been to a couple airports with offshoots of breweries
in them.

Yes the downtown Minneapolis Rock Bottom will be shipping a couple of
their beers over there. I had talked to their GM Brent Campbell
about it. Rock Bottom beer at inflated airport prices. Although I
guess it'll be nice as I traditionally have at least 1 beer before
flying.

For all you happy travelers out there, it looks like the MSP
airport is
adding a new establishment that many of you may be interested in.
They
are working on a Rock Bottom at the beginning of the C concourse,
right on the
corner where it meets with the main terminal. The sign says
"Coming Spring".
