The previous titles were American and English brewing books, now it is time for a Scottish brewing book. Roberts recognized that brewing texts of the time described the English system of brewing in detail, but they did not address the Scottish system. To this end, he wrote The Scottish Ale Brewer. It is recognized as THE book on Scottish brewing during the 1800s, and is referenced by books such as Noonan's Scotch Ale. We searched for years to find a copy of this book and are proud to be able to bring this republication to you.
