When I lived in Rochester, I had been part of a wine making group that
used several demijohns. When making lots of wine or mead they were
handy. But, you need two people to lift them, and a strong platform to
set them on. I once or twice made beer in one, good for 10-12 gallons
for primary fermenter.

I live in Duluth MN, but will be visiting the minneapolis area in a
few weeks... my sister suggested I use Craiglist to try to sell
these.
I've used the demijohns for a year, but found my back can't handle
lifting them without anyone around... so I will be sticking to
smaller carboys for my winemaking. I paid $55 each plus a few dollars
for the rubber bungs that fit the top. Basket's to hold them came
with it also.
If anyone is insterested, email me and make me an offer, Thanks!
Dustin
