Entries to the region were closed yesterday afternoon when they reached 750 entries!!! Our planning is going well, but we could use a few more judges (now that we are 100 entries above what we were told to expect :-) We especially need experienced judges with few entries. If you haven't already reserved your spot, please consider coming to Madison, WI on Saturday, April 17 to judge. The event will include 3 judging sessions, lunch catered by the Great Dane, a huge, HUGE "swag-a-thon" featuring, among other prizes, a pair of Great Taste of the Midwest tickets (reserved for out of town volunteers and 2 weeks before they go on sale to the general public!) not to mention a post-judging party at the Capital Brewery Bierstube from 7-midnight hosted by the MHTG with lots of great beer -- homebrew and local specialties.
