Huzzah!
We have been invited back to host an on-site home brew contest at the Minnesota
Renaissance Festival again this year over Labor Day Weekend. We also organize
demonstrations on stage.
As many of you know, for the last two years that this has been a fun, low-key event. I am
looking for people who would like to help out with the organization. This is a great
opportunity to help behind the scenes on a smaller brewing contest. Dedication is more
important than experience.
If you are interested in helping organize this event, there will be an informational
meeting on Thursday, June 11th at 6:30 pm at the Bulldog (2549 Lyndale Ave S.,
Minneapolis, MN 55405).
Positions available:
Cellar Master
Judge Coordinator
Steward Coordinator
Stage Demo Coordinator
Brew Shop Liaison
Brew Club Liaison
Database Coordinator
Office/Judging Supply Coordinator
You will need to be available both Saturday and Sunday (September 5th and 6th), and
depending on the position on Monday, September 7th.
We are also looking for people interested in doing brewing and informational demos, as
well as "Ale Connors" who will answer questions about the event/brewing.
Please email me if you are interested in one of these positions, but are not able to
attend this meeting.
Call for Judges and Stewards will be posted closer to the event. If you only want to
judge/steward, you do NOT need to attend this meeting.
