Hey Rick,
Do you think Curt would be willing to bring a demo. model to the Christmas party next
week??
I would really like to be educated on CP bottling. I'd keg more beer for bottling
purposes if I had a good CP filler.
BTW, St. Pat's in Texas claims to have the "best" CP filler....as do the
folks in CA at Beer, Beer and More Beer. I'd rather keep my money local and use
local technology if possible....
Curt, maybe Barr Engineering would sponsor a CP filler seminar and help source discount
pricing on needed materials?! :) I could ask my wife, Rachada, to call up Doug Barr
and see what he thinks!! jesting....
Looking forward to a great party next week. Now, how much beer in my stash do I have for
the exchange??!? And how much room in my belly for great club brews and food?!?

NO NEED TO BE SHY WITH OUR HINTS AL.
PS. I would actually start entering contests again if the flavor, carbonation levels, and
contest results improved just a wee bit.

I'm in the market to purchase a counter pressure filler. I'm also
looking for suggestions on filler designs and filling tricks?

New subject: Counter Pressure Bottle Filler
Better yet, let's have a CP Bottle Filler show and tell at the January
or February meeting. Those of us with bottle fillers can bring them
and we can discuss the various pros and cons.
I used to have a model from Fox Brewing in Kansas City. I hated it, so
I traded it to Rick Larson for an air lock (I'm still convinced I got
the better deal). He and Ruggles made some alterations and made it
tolerable to use. I have on loan (thank you, Mark) a similar model but
it has a 3 position valve making operation a lot simpler.
I've been thinking of making a multi-bottle filler, but haven't worked
the details out yet.
