The Black Forest has been very supportive of the local home brewers, so we are welcome to bring in home brew as long as we are discrete.  (They serve excellent food and have some great stuff on tap!)  You can park in their lot on Nicollet Avenue.

I will give a brief presentation on brewing with usual ingredients.

In the meantime, please consider entering your beers, meads, and ciders for Byggvir's Big Beer Cup at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.  This will be our fourth year hosting this low-key, fun contest.  We are taking entries through September 4th with judging happening on site during the Fest on September 11th & 12th.  Please consider also signing up to judge or steward.  We welcome all levels of experience.  In fact, this is a great contest to bring your friends or family that would like to know more about judging.  www.rennfestbeercup.com.  (Also, sorry that I had the old address for Midwest on an earlier flyer.  I apologize for amy inconvenience.)
