Down in San Fran ya gotta make it over to the Magnolia Pub (a block off Haight Ashbury) http://www.magnoliapub.com/

Then about 1/2 mile west of Magnolia on Haight is Toronado. This one is a must hit. Killer beer bar with 40 some odd beers on tap. Their website listing hasn't been updated in a while but it's killer.

21st Amendment is great in downtown San Fran http://www.21st-amendment.com/ as is the Thirsty Bear http://thirstybear.com/ Checkout the oldest brewpub in San Fran, The San Francisco Brewing Company http://www.sfbrewing.com/ It's nice and small with a cool old time feel and great beers. Just down the block from is is Rogue's Pub House. They have more Rogue on tap then you could ever want (44 on tap) http://www.rogue.com/locations-sanfran.html
